I just wish people would stop eating that stuff up! Have to work on the demand side to make that one better. It’s tough to get the good stuff into the media. If it doesn’t bleed, it doesn’t lead…

Nice to see you back, now that you are in Phoenix-land!

Love this entry!  It goes along with my mother’s “garbage in, garbage out” mindset she taught us growing up.  There are so many incredible people in the world, but it gets tough to see beyond all the BS.  Thanks for this one. grin

I just read a great book that deals with the dangers of choosing society’s path over one’s own path.  It really got me thinking about choices I made . . . and how I still had time to make better choices.

The book was called Into the Desperate Country.

Hi Kam,
I’m finally getting back into my groove and that includes doing some reading, blogging, catching up on my favorites… I enjoyed this very much. I am disconnecting cable at the beginning of November.  (smile)

Love to you,
L

Hi Kammie,

Just wanted to say that I’ve started reading your blog. I’m wondering if you have heard about the book, “What Men Don’t Tell Women About Business”. I heard the guy (Chris Flett) on the Today Show and thought you probably have already heard of him. I’m wondering what your thoughts were. He seems to be really taking on the ‘Old Boys Club”. I just emailed him, but haven’t heard back.

Anyway, keep up the great writing.

Best,

Bihter.

I couldn’t agree with you more.  Were bombarded with all these images of what we should wear,be etc.  So we get mad when we can’t fit in these fantasy perception of what we should be.  But if popular mags or shows were filled with blogs like this, that are about personal growth and other healthy activities than I think a lot more people would be a lot happier with their lives.  Just my opinion...love your blog : )
