Passionate Theme of the Day: Heroes
“A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.” ~ Joseph Campbell
Holy S&#*!! I’m a HERO? According to Reg Adkins of Hero of the Week blog, I am. Reg Adkins writes on behavior and the human experience at Elemental Truths, Honoring the heroes of blogging at Hero of the Week, and Counseling from Faith at Faith Based Counseling.
Hero of the Week’s mission is simply this:
“Elemental Truths is proud to honor people who have made extraordinary contributions to our local and global community or performed epic actions to fulfill a need. Please use the contact link if you’d like to nominate an individual to be an Elemental Truths Hero of the Week.”
Thanks so much to Reg for his patience in tracking me down last week and playing e-tag with me. Here’s how the nominations went down…My lovely friend Kirsten Harrell of Think Positive blog nominated me last week, after she herself was nominated by the Purple Wren, Sandy Wrenshaw.
Sandy was the 3rd edition hero, after she was given the nod by my Make it Great! buddy and relationship geek, Phil Gerbyshak. Phil was nominated by none other than Ted Demoupolos of Blogging for Business.
So Hero Row looks like this:
1st Edition: Ted Demoupolos
2nd Edition: Phil Gerbyshak
3rd Edition: Sandy Renshaw
4th Edition: Kirsten Harrell
5th Edition: Kammie Kobyleski (umm...that’s me
If you haven’t visited the Hero blog yet, take a look and nominate one of your favorite bloggers. There are SO many really cool blogs out there…help spread the love by turning Reg on to your favs.
I feel really honored that Kirsten chose to nominate me and THANK her very much for her continued support, encouragement and nurturing feedback. Like I told Reg, I’m a blogging addict mostly because of the awesome relationships, friendships and business partnerships that couldn’t have come my way through any other vehicle except blogging.
I love you guys!! You’re ALL my heroes!!!
Peace & love,
Kam

Welcome to the club!
Other than the first hero, which was clearly a joke (me), the rest simply are superb, i.e. rock!
