Passionate Theme of the Day: Signs
“Let go of what you “think” you know. And pay attention to the flow. Stop trying to force things to go the way you think they should go, and be willing to move in a direction that is different from what you planned on or expected.” Steven Lane Taylor
Found this great little gem today after another little “sync” that happened just this afternoon. Today is my first day to teach a new class at the university. I’m teaching an advertising campaign class. And while I’m really excited about it (I actually think it’ll become my favorite), there is some natural anxiety and adrenaline flowing.
My class starts at 6pm. So around 3:30 I ran to Subway (yummy healthy fast food) to grab a lunch/dinner nibble. As I was pulling out of the parking lot (with my mind focused on getting back, eating and prepping my last couple things for class) I looked at the car that had been parked next to me and the license plate on the car said “CALM”.
Awwww, yeah! I just smiled and laughed at myself. There was just another little tap on the shoulder by big brother Universe that I had nothing to worry about. No reason to sweat it. Just BE CALM!!
I LOVE it when that happens (as I know my friend Wayne Hurlbert does too!). Just wanted to share that little episode and remind everyone to keep your eyes and ears and hearts open. When you least expect it (but most often need it) the Universe will make sure you get the message.
What sings and synchronicities are showing up in YOUR life? I’d love to hear all about it...so drop some comments and fill me in!
Sings signs everywhere signs,
Kam

I find the challenge in that...the be still part… We get so busy and think we’ve got control of the wheel…
that’s why I’m practicing “surrender” this year. A real challenge for a recovering control freak!
Thanks for sharing!

For me, I would have to say the verse from the Bible - Psalms 46:10a “Be still and know that I am God.” A great reminder that I can do nothing and God is truly in control.
