Passionate Theme of the Day: Connection
“I am a part of all that I have met.” Alfred Tennyson
Today’s inspiration stumbled upon me in the form of this quote. To say I’m addicted to blogging is an understatement. Most bloggers will say the same thing.
What I love so much about this form of communication is that I am able to (and many other bloggers have stated the same) be more open and vulnerable than I might under face to face circumstances.
Why is that cool? Because the more open and honest I am - by sharing my ups, downs and all arounds - the more welcoming, receiving and support you are. The connection we have online is just as strong (if not stronger in some circumstances) than any off-line connections/conversations/friendships/business partnerships I have.
Sharing some of my scaries in my Monday post, found me a really inspiring response from Steve at Fastlane and an equally supportive e-mail from another online friend, Jeff. Jeff is the one of the co-publishers for the Success and Happiness book I mentioned. Both re-assured me that they too have felt these feelings, and that this was an opportunity to step up and play bigger than ever before.
When I work with clients, it is easy for me to hear where they need some acknowledgement or encouragement to step their game up a notch. They usually just need a bit of a “hoo-rah” and they are good to go. Sometimes the situation calls for an edgier kick in the booty.
What’s so cool about being connected to the most amazing folks in the blogosphere? I can post and within minutes/hours/days, I benefit from insights from coaches, business consultants, solo-preneuers, leaders of integrity, savvy writers and change agents from around the world.
“I am a part of all that I have met” and I am one lucky girl! Today’s quote reminded me that we are all part of the canvas of each other’s lives. We’re all just one tiny thread that helps to weave together a colorful, textured, eclectic fabric that is someone’s life. I appreciate everyone, online and off that have impacted the direction I am heading. Thanks for directly impacting my journey. THANK YOU for letting me be a part of YOUR lives!!
How are you impacting your world today? What things BIG or small are you doing to add to the fabric of life?
Rockin’ & Rollin’ thru the blogosphere,
Kam
