PMP Product Recommendation: Fun+Joy=Well-Being

Passionate Theme of the Day: FUN

“When was the last time you danced?
When was the last time you danced?
Well come rock with me baby,
Dance with me darlin’,
Step with me sweetheart,
The world is watchin” ~ Gnarls Barkley

Why is it that we often wait until Friday and the weekend to have FUN? It’s not that many of us aren’t having fun when we are working. It’s just that many of us get caught up in the DOing and are less about the BEing…and then Friday rolls around and we remember to kick it into high gear!

I’m hooked on this Gnarls Barkley CD, St. Elsewhere and the song The Last Time is too freakin’ cool. Hop on over to iTunes and give it a whirl. Why does this song make me smile so? Because it reminds us to have FUN. To dance our asses off (think Footloose here) and to just let go! To wave our hands in the air, and shake our derriere.

As I was rockin’ out around the house this morning I also was guided to share with you these really cool Abraham-Hicks cards that I got as a gift from my sweet friend Col. They’re called Well-Being Cards (you can order them online at hayhouse.com) I use them a lot like I use the Sonia Choquette Oracle Cards, only I usually shuffle these and pick one at the start of each day, so I have a focus and an affirmation to repeat several times a day. I pull the card out of the deck and keep it in my purse or use it as a book mark in whatever it is I’m reading that day.

Here’s a sample of the cards related to FUN and feeling GOOD:

“First I seek joy, all else follows.”
“I am selfish enough to want to feel good.”
“To allow well-being, I must be in joy.”
“The measure of my success is my joy.”
“My happiness is my greatest gift to others.”

If you’re a student of The Secret and/or Law of Attraction, you should really add these little beauties to your collection of mind, body, spirit tools. The illustrations by Kristina Swarner are really charming and depict the phrase on the front beautifully. When you flip the card over you get a little bit more of the Abraham teaching.

For example, on the back of, “What’s my BIG hurry? (It’s all for joy) All is well.” It says, “What’s the big hurry? You’re not ever going to get it done, so what are you racing toward?
Every single activity that you’re involved in is for one purpose only, and that is to give you a moment of joy. That’s why it all exists. Lighten up. Laugh more. Appreciate more. All is well.”

Pretty cool stuff, huh? So friends…when was the last time YOU danced? When was the last time you laughed so hard you cried and almost wet your pants? When was the last time you felt such sheer JOY, that you cried? My challenge for you this weekend is to have FUN. BE joy. Be laughter. Be light. Be a spinning, sweaty, sassy mess all over a dance floor. Or your living room, or rock the mic in your car. I don’t care where you DO it…just BE it!

Nuff said.

Peace and JOY to the world,
Kammie K.

I L-O-V-E this blog entry!

First of all, I too love the Gnarls CD and have it on my iPod stereo…

I also totally agree with the concept of having fun all week.  Each and everyday, I wake up, go to my desk, turn on my iPod stereo and throughout the day, I dance, sing, laugh and act silly.  I think we all need to make sure we’re taking out the time to enjoy life and that we’re not taking ourselves too seriously!

I also am a beginning follower of The Secret and the LOA.  The themes that these two items have resonate deep within my soul and energize me beyond anything I’ve ever been interested in before.

Thank you for posting about exactly how I play out each day smile You read my mind.
