Passionate Theme of the Day: Chill
"There is no need to go to India or anywhere else to find peace. You will find that deep place of silence right in your room, your garden or even your bathtub.”
Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
Hello passionate people. I just wanted to let you know that I’m in sunny California visiting with old and new friends this week. You’ll just have to wait till next week to get your PMP fix! Even us personal development, productivity loving, make it happen types, need to re-boost, re-energize and re-fuel.
My wish for you this week is to find a block of time (big or small) and let yourself chill. Take a nap, read a book under a tree, take a walk in the park, check out a local museum, watch a frivolous film, take a bath, lay on a blanket and watch the clouds.
Whatever you choose, just remember to incorporate a little downtime into your week. The benefits of rest and relaxation...just doing NOTHING...really does a LOT for your soul, your mind and your sexy body! I can’t wait to catch up with you all next week and report the inspiration and a-ha’s that I know will come out of my downtime.
I’ve been in town just shy of 24 hours and I’ve already eaten at 2 yummy restaurants, had a private concert (a serenade if you will) by my beautiful friend Alana Gentry and her boyfriend Erich, and made friends with a really old dog with a sideways tounge named Scrumpy. What fun! Oh yeah, and a guy on a bike in Venice rode past me and tried to cop a feel as he passed me by! Freaky!!
The fun never ends folks. If you need to reach me before next Tuesday, you can’t! Just send me an e-mail and I’ll get back to you next week. I’m making myself step away from the computer and drop of the grid for a few days. It feels good to unplug.
Party like rock stars and chill like ice cream,
Kam-a-licious
