PMP BUZZ - Life on Purpose Six Passages to an Inspired Life

Passionate Theme of the Day: Purpose

“The more you align your thoughts, feelings, words, and actions, the more congruent your creative energies will be – resulting in an incresed ease and flow of the creative process.” Dr. Brad Swift from his book Life on Purpose Six Passages to an Inspired Life

Hello Passionate People!

One of the cool things about the PMP blog gaining more exposure is that some really cool authors are happy to share their work with me to pass along to you. It’s a win-win. I dig the book. I tell you - my friends about it. You go buy a copy, we’ve then both supported the author in living their dreams. Yeah us!

Today I’ve agreed to be a part of Dr. Brad Swift’s blog-book promo tour for his Life on Purpose Six Passages to an Inspired Life. I’ve joined a long list of bloggers including my gal Jodee Bock, old friend Nneka from Balanced Life Center, Steve from The Fast Lane and Pam Slim, who have taken the time to share a little about Brad’s book with the world.

So here’s the short of it:

As you might guess from the title, the heart of this book is all about uncovering your true purpose on this dizzy planet. A mixture of personal stories, client case studies and exercises to help guide you through the six passages, Brad does a great job drawing the reader into his process of creating a vision of a life filled with purpose, direction, simplicity, and inspired action.

Brad’s six passages along our purposeful path are as follows:

1) Preparing for the Journey
2) Starting on the Purposeful Path
3) Uncovering What Has Been Shaping Your Life
4) Clarifying and Polishing Your True, Divinely Inspired Purpose
5) Learning the Tools for Living on Purpose
6) Mastering the Tools for Living on Purpose

Throughout this book we are gently guided by Brad to show up as our true authentic selves, to let go of old, played out scenarios and ways of operating, to adopt the “Attraction Principles” by Thomas Leonard to help increase momentum and flow (I LOVE Thomas Leonard’s Attraction Principles, you can find them on pgs. 184-188) and to create new and inspired actions for our lives.

I’d recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a spiritual, simple, and inspired guide to encourage you along your journey. Part book, part workbook, Dr. Brad Swift is definitely passionate about helping others uncover their true purpose in life, and that earns an A in my book. Enjoy!

What good books have your read that have inspired you lately? If you can’t remember the last time you read one, then run out and grab Life on Purpose now, or better yet…click on over to Amazon and have it shipped today.

Have a great weekend PMP’ers!

Your Passionate Coach,
Kam
