Morning PMP’ers! Just wanted to share something I found over at Solutions For Busy Moms. Don’t jump to conclusions, I’m NOT prego…just found a great article about the A-Z’s of organization. Sarah Zeldman shares an article by Maria Gracia at Get Organized Now! - even us non-mommies can benefit from.
I won’t go thru the whole list, but a few of my faves are:
* B: BREAK IT DOWN - Anything you have to do is
easier, if you break it down into manageable parts.
* E: ELIMINATE - Get rid of clutter--both physical
and mental. You’ll breathe easier and feel a sense
of freedom.
* Q: QUALITY, NOT QUANTITY - It is much better to
have a few treasures that you love and enjoy,
rather than having lots of things you don’t
particularly care for. Always think quality, over
quantity, and you’ll simplify your life. Of course,
this doesn’t apply to money!
* V: VISUALIZE - Picture how wonderful your life is
going to be when you’re organized. Then strive to
put yourself in that picture every day.
* W: WRITE IT DOWN - Don’t try to keep everything
you have to remember in your head. Simply write it
down and refer to it when needed.
If those aren’t some of the very same principles I’ve been applying to my own life, I don’t know what is! Take these juicy tid-bits and work them into your own life. I’m a BIG fan of cleaning your closet, cleaning your life. My motto for this year is “streamline and simplify”, and this is just more validation that I’m tracking right on target.
When we clean our literal “junk” we also begin to clean up our figurative “junk”. By creating more physical space in our homes, we open up more space in our hearts, minds and spirits. Who couldn’t use more room for the good stuff (or another pair of sassy strappy sandals?)
What can you clear out today to make room for tomorrow?
So fresh & so clean,
Kam

Kammie,
I came to your blog via Small Business Branding and yay! I love everything that you have to say here....(must link to your blog!) I’m not a coach, but I also have a passion for helping people realize their dreams and to let them know that prosperity is all a state of mind.
Much peace,
Maria

Maria,
Thanks so much for the compliment. I’m a fan of anyone who’s a fan of spreading more passion on this planet! And I agree, prosperity is a state of mind...amazing the transformations and quantum leaps we can make when we CHANGE our minds.
I’m happy you dig the content and look forward to blogging with you.

Look at you go! Great entry, as usual.
This entry is SO timely for my week. I’ve been dragging mah feets for a while, but this past week I decided to get it together. I think part of what helped me were some focus and relaxation cds I listened to. Anyway, I got a lot cleared off my plate, and here’s the amazing part: as I started to clear, my inquiry email started to OVERFLOW. I’d not had any unique inquiries for almost over a month, and in the span of a week, I got 12. I was stunned. I can’t help but think that when I cleared my plate, the universe rewarded me by sending me more work, for there was “room” for it.

Reese, thanks and YOU go girl! 12 new inquiries? WOW! Now that’s manifestation in action!
I do believe the quickest way to open the door for more abundance is to CLEAR our junk! And cleaning up piles, stacks, closets and the like, DOES allow for more space for the goodness to flow.
Sounds like you cleared out an entire room
Curious if any of the inquiries came from new people seeing PMP on SBB or my new yahoo group of mommy “blog jolters”? Cuz let me tell you...the kudos on the site keep pouring in and I tell them about my “intuitive” web designer!!
Congrats on your success, I know it is because you live in integrity and WALK your TALK. Thank you again, for your beautiful design is a visual representation of the “zenergy” I had in mind - which allows me to spread even more passion and purpose into the blogosphere and beyond!!

hey again, ms. kam,
It’s so funny about junk, huh? I hired an organizer to come and help with our kitchen, and in doing so I found myself far more inspired to cook (and be healthy) than when the kitchen was a random mess. When we make room for MORE and we aim for balance, we get exactly what we intend
No inquiries yet directly from you, but given your increased exposure as of late, I won’t be surprised if some come my way that route. I read a comment on the SBB from someone who complimented your brand. I think one of the reasons your design succeeds is because it reflects you, and you reflect it. You allowed me to do something more ‘creative’ and not so corporate, and in turn, the resulting design fit your dynamic and appeal. You are SO authentic in everything you do--what you write, the design you decided on for this site, how you carry yourself in the world. That authenticy is what makes your brand so strong. I’m going to write up a blog entry soon about you and another client of mine that exemplify how passion and soul can ignite success.
You are teteering on the edge of something HUGE. I feel it. It’s awesome to be a part of someone’s life that is going in incredible directions. This isn’t fluff--I don’t tell it to everyone. But there are some seriously cool things that are going to come your way soon, and I couldn’t be more delighted if the experience were my own.

Reese! What an amazing compliment. I decided to share your comment with the world for 2 reasons. First, selfishly - it’s a great testimonial!
Your kind words are just more validation that I walk my talk, and how could I not want visitors and potential clients of PMP to know that?
The second is because I want people to know that the Law of Attraction WORKS!! You were referred to me thru Kristen, and had I not attracted her into my life, I never would have attracted you. People ask me how I found you (being that you are in Canada & I in the US)...and I tell them, that’s the beautiful synchronicities that can take place when you sync up your passion and your purpose!
THAT isn’t “fluff” talk either. My life is an example of this. And I’ve seen it work in the lives of my clients, readers and friends and family.
When we live in integrity, how can the Universe NOT support our every desire? When we come from a place of GRATITUDE, set our intentions verbally and in writing and release control of the HOW it will manifest and our attachment to the outcome, the Universe always delivers, and more often than not, it serves it up in a bigger and better way than we could have designed on our own.
So thank YOU Reese. For your beautiful web design, your constant support and your ever evolving friendship.
Much love,
Kam

Glad you liked that article. I’m a bit of an organizational geek myself. Here’s a review of my favorite

By the way, I LOVE your blog. Girl, you got style!
