Passionate Theme of the Day: Inspiration
I’ve been listening to the CD version of Wayne Dyer’s latest book (thought I’d get thru it faster in the car than trying to read at midnight) called Inspiration Your Ultimate Calling. All I can say is WOW. For those of you familiar with his work, you know that Wayne is a master teacher if ever there was one. And for those of you that aren’t familiar with his work…you should make friends with Wayne’s work fast!
Search online or look for his work in your local bookstore and choose the book that speaks to you. You can also listen to his radio show at HayHouseRadio.com. Plus, listening, you gain the added benefit of hearing Wayne’s smooth, soothing, relaxing voice. It’s good stuff people. Listening to or reading his work always finds me happy, peaceful and re-energized!
Dr. Dyer refers to Inspiration as living “in spirit”. He believes that when we’re not feeling inspired, it’s because we are not connected to our source, to our spirit, therefore we feel overwhelmed, stressed, burned out or otherwise funktified. Ewww! Here’s how Dr. Dyer stays inspired:
"I stay inspired by encouraging others to live out their destiny and allowing the world to unfold as it will, and I’m much more likely to feel peaceful. In fact, when I’m living my life from this perspective of inspiration, my vibrational energy is more attuned to that of the creative energy of the Universe, and I find that my effect on others is far more spiritually aligned. Furthermore, I know within my own being that I’m doing something very powerful to make this world a more spiritually oriented place for us all."
With just one CD left, I’m feeling more inspired, energized and peaceful. I’ve had some chaotic personal events take place in the past week or two since beginning to listen to it, but have chosen to remain in a place of peace vs. a place of fear or anger. I thank Wayne Dyer for this book, which has helped me to stay calm, peaceful and focused (OK about 95% of the time…I’m still human people!) and wanted to share it with you.
This season can bring up unresolved resentments, frustration, anger and depression for many people. My wish for you is that if you need a boost of inspiration, you can count on Dr. Dyer’s book to lift you up and remind you of your true Divine nature. Choose to be “in spirit”, stay inspired and show up as you truly are, a Divine Inspiration indeed!
What inspires you? How do you stay “in spirit” during crazy or chaotic times? How might you focus on staying “in spirit” instead of “in spiral” this holiday season?
Dancin’ with Dyer,
Kam

Kay,
I just happened across your blog and I am very touched. I am a huge Wayne Dyer fan. I have read a number of his books (there’s a spiritual sulution to every problem is my favorite) and catch all of his PBS programing when possible. I have also read a few negative comments about how he repeats himself. It doesn’t bother me...in fact sometimes I NEED reminding and am very glad to have it. What’s wrong about being reminded of the light that is in us all...If we will just look! I am new to the “blog” but think I will enjoy it more than the forums. Thanks for the suggestion of Hayhouseradio.com as well. I do have a question for anyone that can help. I have seen the PBS special “The power of Intention”, and
“Inspiration” ....but have not read those 2 books. Has anyone done both (read the book and seen the TV specials) and could give me comparisons?

Valeree...welcome to the PMP blog...and to the blogosphere! It is a wonderful place indeed...I have seen both the PBS specials and as the post is about...just listened to the book on CD and love both. I like seeing the PBS shows, because you get to see Wayne and he is a bit more animated on TV than listening to the book. Just my 2 cents!!
Stay passionate,
Kam
