Are We There Yet? You're already "There"

Witnessed some amazing public speaking today. OK, so technically he’s a minister and was a guest speaker today at CSL, here in STL. I love watching really charismatic people speak. Charles was able to engage the entire room and get us on board for a ride that lasted about 20-30 minutes (actually, I have no idea how long he spoke, I was pretty mesmerized the entire time). Our topic today was “Identification Please”. More or less, “who ARE we”? Yes, as in “who am I really?” Underneath the clothes, the cars, the homes, the stuff. Who are we when we strip away the “stuff”?

One line that gave me goose bumps was when he stated that our only job in life is to, “Live in the bliss of revealing it”…referring to our unique gifts. Meaning living our passions and living on purpose. Are you with me? Let me clarify. According to Rev. Charles, (visiting from Agape in California), our purpose in this life is to uncover our own unique gifts and reveal those gifts to the world. SHARE them. Live AS them. GIVE them. BE them. Do you get me? When we give our gifts, we are living as spirit in motion. Tuned in and tapped into our divine source.

Perhaps you are saying, “How do I figure out what my own unique gift is?” It might not be uncovered over night. In fact, that’s not even the point. The journey of discovery might be half the dance for you. I can’t say, because my lessons and learning’s are different than yours.

The objective is to LIVE. To GIVE. Love and light. To wake UP. To stop WAITING. There is NO better time than today. We will never be better than we are right now. We are everything we need to be today. When we change our minds. And shift back into I AM, vs. I will be, the floodgates open.

It’s not, “When I get the guy, the house, the job, the body…I’ll be good enough, smart enough, rich enough, thin enough”. It’s I AM…insert your desire here. Watch. I AM beautiful. I AM loveable. I AM a contagious smile. I AM a multimillionaire. I AM a published author. I AM spirit in motion. I AM presently perfect. I AM joy and laughter.

When you state who you are and insert the words you desire…more joy, love, laughter, light, abundance, wealth, health, creativity, genius, you name it…flows into your life. NOT the other way around. It’s not, “when I find more joy, love, laughter, my life will be all I want it to be”. We have to BEcome who we want to be and then our lives will reflect back exactly that.

I won’t get into the details here, but believe me when I tell you, my life looks completely different than it did just one year ago. A very wise woman pointed out to me that until I became who I wanted to be, my life wouldn’t reflect the desired results. And she couldn’t have been more right.

SO ask yourself, “Who AM I? Better yet, why don’t you just tell the universe. All you have to do is declare it, and know that it already IS. I AM love. I AM open to receive all the abundance the universe has to offer me. I AM infectious laughter. I AM creative. I AM radiant. I AM healthy, wealthy and wise. I AM love and light. I AM truth and beauty. I AM divine. Who are you?

Be you. BE bold. Be bad-ass.

Ah, what a good entry. I think I have a fair amount of what you said nailed down, except for the beauty parts wink If there is one thing in my life still dragging me down, it’s my self esteem about my body.

Maybe if I start declaring to myself that I am beautiful (much like I did about success, wealth, etc and that worked out OK) that, too, will follow suit. We’ll see. smile

Reese! I think the beauty and body thing is something we all work on. I’m sure even Victoria’s Secret models have their “fat days”. Maybe the goal is to have more positive soundtrax playing in our minds than horror movie soundtrax as we look in the mirror.

I’ve been using affirmations more these days and it’s been quite successful. When I put lotion on after a shower I silently repeat, “I am a long and lean and powerful athlete”...now if you must know, I’m only 5’4 and far from Olympic status...but hey, the weight has been coming off and my muscles are looking more lean.

I’ve also been saying, “I’m healthy and great at size 6/8”...well I’ve reached 8 (from 10/12) and looking to rephrase my little ditty to “I am sassy & sexy at size six”.

It’s not even really about the size, it’s about the feeling I have being aware of the choices I make for my health.

Don’t get me wrong, sometimes I slip and go for the nachos, but more often than not, I make healthy choices.

Anyway...you are beautiful. Look yourself in the eyes everyday and tell yourself that and pretty soon, those old messages will melt away!
much love,
kam
